Absolutely amazing dinner tonight at Firebirds in Omaha. The ambience is perfect, not too bright, and a lovely fire when you walk in. Hostess was sweet and efficient, and got us to our reserved table quickly. We decided on wine and a Woodford old fashioned to start. Paul was an absolutely fantastic server, and was helpful and friendly without intruding. For dinner we enjoyed the bleu cheese filet and the cajun ribeye, both cooked to perfection. The semolina bread is light and heavenly. All in all, a perfect meal.

Wow, this place was really packed on a Saturday evening! Good thing my party of six had reservations. I don't usually get this far west so this was my first visit here. I opted for the bleu cheese filet with a side of broccoli and a mixed green salad. My steak was phenomenal - loved the bacon and mushrooms but it could have used just a bit more bleu cheese. The salad had a nice tang with the cilantro lime vinaigrette and I was not familiar with jicama before but it added a nice touch. Our group shared the lobster spinach queso and bacon deviled eggs. The candied bacon really made it. We had a cozy corner booth large enough for 6 people. Our server was really busy but still professional and attentive. No room for dessert but we all had take home boxes. I can't wait to eat my leftover steak and broccoli for lunch soon.

We came in mid-day Sunday, there were people but it wasn't packed. It took at least 10 mins for our waiter to greet us and bring waters. The fish tacos and chicken wings were really good the smoked chicken sandwich was tough and lacked flavor. The restaurant itself is considerably nice, somewhere you could go for a nice lunch but not need to dress up. Sat for another 10 mins for the check to arrive after asking for it, which I would understand if it was busy but it really wasn't bad at all.

First off, those deviled eggs are insanely good. I was hesitant at first because I'm not used to seeing them on a menu, but I made the correct choice. Seeing 10 + orders of them come out to other tables confirms that people live them. The bacon is candied, so it gives a nice sweet contrast to the jalapeño (which they keep the seeds in thankfully) The pasta was insanely good as well. It was creamy and spicy and the portion size was absolutely insane for the price you pay..it's very cheap for what you're getting portion wise. I highly recommend the pasta to anyone who enjoys those kinds of dishes. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was really nice and made our visit very enjoyable. Bare in mind they are doing construction at the moment, so the restrooms are messy, but that's not a big deal. The only real negative I have to say is the alcohol is kinda expensive..$21 dollars for a double jack and coke is kinda insane..most other places you'd get that for around 15-17. So I'd definitely stick with beer or wine if you wanna have a drink. Overall very good food and experience, I will be returning soon hopefully!

Firebirds is a great place for a group. They have lots of menu options that range from adventurous to simple. The prices range from $11 to $30 a person. Salads would be on the lower end, but they do not have any proteins. Pasta, burgers, steak and chicken are probably more $21 to $30 range but they typically include a side. For any party size, I would recommend having a reservation, and keep in mind that they will only sit you at your table once everyone has arrived. The restaurant is full service, and they have plenty of options to customize your meal. Most people order alcoholic beverages, but it is not an expectation. They have options for both wheelchair and high chair seating, but overall are probably not a number one accessible restaurant.

Celebrated my wife's birthday by stopping by! I wanted to take her to a new place that we hadn't visited before. We stopped in without a reservation on a Tuesday night. We were seated quickly. It was a few minutes before our waiter stopped by. We kicked off with the lobster queso. We both enjoyed it! After that, we received some complimentary bread, but I felt like it came out later than typical but maybe that was because of the appetizer? We had the Firebirds pasta, which had relatively good taste. Some bites were spicy, others were not but in general, it was good. The Firebirds Burger had some good flavor to it! I really enjoyed the combo of chile spices and the garlic ranch. It had great flavor. I think our experience was good and we had a great time, but the price was a little bit higher than what we would have loved to pay. If someone suggested, I would go. . . but because of the price tag, I think I could find other spots in Omaha that are just as good.

We visited Firebirds last month for our second time and once again it did not disappoint! we don't live in Omaha, we were visiting from out of town, but dinner at Firebirds will now be on our itinerary for every time we visit. The food was fantastic and the service by Abigail was top-notch! Can't wait to come back!

We stopped into Firebirds during our anniversary week to have a nice lunch out. The food, service, and ambiance truly fit that bill! The vibe of Firebirds is very upscale with lots of dark woods and sleek leather booths. Our server was excellent and gave some great recommendations when we were deciding between a few items. We started with the Bacon Deviled Eggs, and they were gigantic. This app came with three whole eggs, halved, so six halved eggs. They were basic deviled eggs, but with a candied, crispy bacon on top of each egg-half. The sweetness and crispiness of the bacon definitely counterbalanced the richness of the egg extremely well. In addition to our starter, we had the bread service, which came warm and toasty and with a creamy butter on the side. A wonderful little start to the meal! Entree-wise, my husband got the Cajun Ribeye, which came with a chili crust and was topped with Cajun butter. It was cooked perfectly and was actually pretty light tasting for being a bit cut of steak - and was of course delicious. His meal came with a Caesar salad, and he is very picky about his salads. He said it was fantastic, with the Caesar dressing layered on each leaf of lettuce, and not swimming in dressing or skimping. I had the Lobster Fondue Salmon, which was a good sized piece of salmon topped with a creamy lobster sauce. It was DECADENT and hard to finish, it was so filling and tasty. For my side, I chose the Southwest Au Gratin Potatoes, and they were scrumptious and super creamy with layers of sliced potatoes all simmering in the little dish they bring it out in. I love au gratin potatoes normally, and these really stacked up against some of the best I've had. Highly recommend, if you're going and choosing your sides. Even though we were stuffed from our lunch, we were there on a special occasion so also did have to spring for a dessert. I'm a lemon lover so I chose the Five Layer Lemon Cake. SO GOOD! It was a super flaky cake with lemon gelee on top and lemony frosting between each thin layer. It also came with a small side of blueberry sauce, if you like a little tartness to cut the sweetness of all that lemon. Firebirds would be great for a special occasion, business lunch, date night, or just a treat for yourself - with good food, great service, and a welcoming ambiance!
